Several years ago, God put a burden on my heart: go upstream and disciple the men.
I’ve spent decades watching what happens when Jesus gets hold of a man’s life. The impact doesn’t stop with him. It flows downstream into his marriage, his children, his friendships, his workplace, his church, and his community.
In a culture that often seems more interested in demonizing men than discipling them, I believe the Church has an incredible opportunity. Men don’t need another place to perform or pretend. They need Jesus, purpose, formation, and brothers beside them.
I believe a movement of discipled men can change families, shape communities, impact a nation, and echo for eternity. That’s why I started VP Brotherhood.

The Problem
Too many men are:
Living in isolation instead of brotherhood.
Darkened by lies instead of freedom.
Drifting instead of growing.
Performing instead of abiding.
Consuming instead of multiplying.
Carrying burdens they were never meant to carry alone.
Built for more. Made for Him.
Every man longs for purpose. To live with clarity. To lead with conviction. To protect what matters. To leave a legacy.
Yet too many men are isolated, distracted, spiritually stagnant, and trying to carry life’s burdens alone.
God never intended men to pursue Him in isolation. He created us for brotherhood. He created us for formation. He created us for mission.
You were built for more. More than empty success. More than comfort. More than surviving. You were made for Him.
Our Vision
Vertical Pursuit Brotherhood exists to cultivate a coalition of men who relentlessly pursue Christ together, refuse isolation, become Noble Sons, and multiply disciple-makers in every sphere of influence.
Whether you’re in a church, a locker room, a business, a fire station, a classroom, or around a backyard BBQ, Brotherhood begins wherever men decide to pursue Jesus together.

The 11 Rhythms
Discipleship isn’t simply something we know. It’s a way of life. The 11 Rhythms provide a practical pathway for becoming more like Jesus through intentional spiritual formation. Every rhythm builds upon the next as we learn to live with Christ at the center of everything.
What Is a Noble Son?
A Noble Son is a man whose identity is rooted in Christ, whose character is being formed by the Holy Spirit, whose life is shaped by the practices of Jesus, and whose mission is to invite, invest in, and inspire others toward Him.
How We Grow
We don’t believe disciples are made by just attending more events. Disciples are made through shared life.
That’s why Brotherhood is built around small cohorts of 3–8 men who consistently pursue Jesus together.
These cohorts gather to:
- Study God’s Word.
- Practice the 11 Rhythms.
- Pray together.
- Challenge one another.
- Care for one another.
- Live on mission together.
No curriculum can replace authentic brotherhood.
Brotherhood begins wherever men decide to pursue Jesus together.
